THQ has revealed the PC spec requirements to run Homefront.
nothing huge, very low requirements
Mostly because they want a large user base. Plus if you noticed, the minimum PC requirements fall well within both consoles' capabilities.
Of course, developers have to make games for the lowest common denominator.
watching the multiplayer walkthrough has gotten me interested
Can't wait to play this
ATI-4850?. Dats MEEEEEEE!.
recommended req's seem to be moving up although minimum for games lately have been a joke. Hopefully the game is worth playing
Just play on ps3 or 360 and no worries.
What if I don't want to play the game at 720p and 30 FPS? What if I want to play at 2560 x 1600? What if I want to use a mouse? I guess I'm boned, right?
I understand what you're saying but I understand what he's saying too. He's only suggesting that you won't have to worry about specs if you pick up the PS3 or 360 version because it's guaranteed to play without any problems. PC is obviously the best platform if you're a graphical and resolution junky, but personally 720p and 30FPS are more than enough for me to enjoy. For me it's the story that's more important, If I can't be immersed in the game, then...whether it's presented beautifully or not, a polished turd is still a turd at the end of the day.
The PC version is being handled by Digital Extremes. Wait and see.
recommended requirement is high compared to others. I bet near full settings with overclocked recommended.
Heard of eyefinity? http://www.youtube.com/watc... Lol @ ninja edit. And recommended requirements aren't high at all - that's fairly standard these days. You aren't going to need much to run this game maxed at decent frames.
I don't have a 2560 x 1600 monitor but there are plenty of people who do.
mid range gpus will max this game out!!!
Much like CoDs
Pretty low specs, to be honest if you bought a decent computer in the last 4 years then you don't really have to look at requirements, as most of those can handle anything that is being released at the moment. In fact the only requirements I have looked up in years was witcher 2,because it looked very good.
