GT:What sort of features and moves can you look forward to in Crytek's next shooter? We've got the scoop!
Can't wait to play the demo tommorow! :D :D :D Bulletstorm demo also! nom nom nom :P
might get myself a 48hr trial just to test out this demo
I was ready to get this game until I read today that it will only have 6v6 MP. I don't know if I'm going to buy it now with all the other shooters coming out this year, most which will have way more than 12 players. Killing and being killed by the same people over and over can get boring real fast. I'm really looking forward to BF3 and some really intense MP action. http://www.thatvideogameblo...
Good luck waiting over a year for BF3 then
12 vs 12 on a big map (BFBC2) will have the same level of intensity/chaos as 6 v 6 (crysis 2, COD4, Halo) on a small map. obviously they were inspired by call of duty and halo as opposed to battlefield. seriously people compalain about gameplay mechanics they know nothing about
Halo seriousely inspired this game, Awsomeness.
I'm going try to download it tomorrow but I want it on PS3.
I don't believe the BC that 6v6 is the best feeling for the MP. They didn't do it because it is the "sweet spot." They're saying that just because they couldn't get more than that to run well on the 360 version. I'll stick with KZ3 myself. IMO Homefront will be a better game than this on the consoles. I hope the PC version isn't only 6v6. That would be completely stupid if CryTek did that.
Glad its on the 360
Let's hope it lives up to the original. If it does...it's on!
If the PC version is 6v6 then I'll be skipping this. You can't say 6v6 gives the same feel as 16v16 on a smaller map because it doesn't! The reason I prefer games like Battlefield is because the scope of the battles feel amazing in comparison to something like CoD. It just seems like they wanted to make it more like the latter and that's never a good thing IMO. Same goes for the SP; they went from a completely open island to a linear NYC which already lends itself to corridor gameplay. I'm sick of people trying to compete with CoD by changing an already proven formula to try and appeal to more gamers. Fuck this, I'll wait for Red Orchestra 2.
