The Gamer Sheep website is in the process of reviewing Killzone 3 in preparation for the embargo to lift next week. The website wants to know what you look for in game reviews and what specifically are you hoping Killzone 3 reviews will focus on.
Does it have guns? Lol. Will there be any helghast
I think the embargo lets me confirm yes to both of those questions.
All I want to know is whether the controls are still garbage.
The girl with the hood.... Is her name really Jammer?
@Fred-G-Sanford They've fixed them. U don't move like a turtle anymore. U can check for yourself when the open beta comes out.
I didn`t know the embargo lifts next week, that`s really early. Does anyone know when exactly?
I'm not sure of the exact date...but I'm pretty sure it's Tuesday.
It's Feb 3. I forget what time, I'll have to check the paperwork that came with my copy.
how well does the campaign integrate local co-op?
I think this guy inadvertanly picked out every problem we have with reviews as is...so if he kind of does what he says, it should be ok... I still don't really get the part of killzone 2...he admits to not having played it, then says 'should I?...i'm not looking forward to that?'... he immediately throws out credibility with that...if he knows nothing of the franchise, nothing of what killzone as a franchise does differently than other shooters...let alone what this sequel does differently than its own predecessors...why should we read his opinion?... so my advice would be...don't be like almost every other reviewer...that would make this review stand out a little more...
How about this one... I'm buying it regardless of the reviews. The beta was beastly.
*cue in eerie mystic music* ... Look into my eyes... **You WILL buy Killzone 3 on release day.. You MUST buy Killzone 3 on release day, no matter what**
Even Xbox only owners must buy this game. Just to have it.
Buy it for your 360-endowed friends!
but be aware of putting KZ3 in your Xbox ... it will give u the message: "Damn, I just can't handle this sweet Baby"
@[email protected] I will buy... I must buy KZ3 on release day. *blink* *blink* >_> ... ... <_<
Focus on what sets it apart from the other billion FPS's on the market now.
Why? no other FPS gets this treatment, why should KZ3? They never set out to do something new, they just set out to make a great game with great graphics and intensity. The review should focus on what it does and if it does it well. Here it what makes it stand out, it will most likely work straight out of the box, in this day and age that definitely sets it apart.
I´m having such a big time with Killzone 3 :D
how about reviewing the sp first then mp later when it's in full gear .
A lot of review sites review the game immediately after/before it comes out so they don't play when the Mp gets patched or something. Can't wait to play this game.
That's the kind of stuff I'm considering. Thanks.
Killzone 3 needs to be reviewed without the fear and pressure of fanboy retaliation. Who gives a sh*t if they rage over a score that is less than what they had expected. I've always enjoyed video reviews similar to IGN or Gametrailers.
cannot wait for this game.
Give me a copy, I'll help you!!! :D
Reviews shouldn't be based on a checklist. That's where many journalists fail. It should be based on a overall experience, and momentus occassions, during the game. Highlight and take note of the special pieces((for example how smooth the dialogue, facial experessions etc are done) and attention to detail, and subtract from it, for any major mishaps that a game has. Take into account what the games supposed to be, and don't compare it to any other game. and there should be no such thing as a 9.7. Reviewers should take in to mind that the range of personalities and tastes of gamers, so the review scores should be based on .0's or .0's & .5's, that way, you can show that even though you think it's a .5 or .6, It would be logical if some people may feel it's a ,7, .8 or .9 or alittle less. Now for presentation, in this case you should detail the review as much as you can because, people are gonna read this one guaranteed. Cross your T's and Dot your I's literally and figuratively, because there are already too many corrupted and suspicious journalist out there as it is, and your readers will take notice and eventually will play the game and know if your one of them.... that's the shortest respose I can give.
You don't have to worry about scores with me. I don't give them. Thanks for the thoughts, though.
well then i hope for a ''11 out 10 kz3 is a generation ahead of any other fps''
I can't believe the Xindi killed 7 million people and.. oh wait wrong series, just give it a 10.
send me a copy and ill help
I thought if it was a sony exclusive it deserves a solid automatic 10? Oh wait this isnt that other site. Its GamerSheep.com I hear they have a great podcast
i think that you should review kz3 for what its, if the campaign is great, how well is to plays it on co op, split screen. how dip and great the Multiplayer is, how well the maps are and the game modes. remind the readers that KILLZONE 2 had great servers and to trust that KILLZONE 3 should roon smoth and lag free do you think that any fps fanatic should go out and get the day on day one? what about if the reader is not a fps fan? do you believe that its fun to play it ? or the campaign has great plot? if any move owners waiting for a hardcore MOVE game, is this that game? if they are amazing levels don't spoil it and let us know that the campaign is great and how well the pace on the gameplay is, from run and gun to start using jetpacks. are the boss battles great or epic.
dose the game have online split screen co-op! for warzone ect ? that would be so awesome lol
this game has more features then then a swiss army knife :P 3d, split screen, online, move support, an epic looking campaign from what we have herd better tighter controls, amazing graphics, hardcore melee kills! thats all pretty impressive to me this game is a step up above killzone 2 and any other console FPS it deserves a 10/10 IF it delivers
