It was between Heavy Rain and Mass Effect 2 for me.

HINDERIZATION5216d ago

i would've gone for Heavy Rain or God of War III. Both left me on the edge of my seat as i kept getting further into them.

MmaFanQc5216d ago

multiplatform game vs exclusives....guess what game had the best visibility?

in my book Heavy Rain was better than Red Dead ....but only by the skin of the teeths

CameronL995216d ago

Yeah there were both xbox and ps3 people voting for red dead seeing as how its multi-plat, whereas only PS3 gamers were voting for God of War, if this were just PS3 gamers voting the results would be a LOT different, seeing as how Red Dead was the only game worth playing on the 360 in 2010, aside from Mass Effect 2.

lmao at the disagrees, peoples are mad because they cant accept others peoples can have their own opinions.

must suck to be them..

UnSelf5216d ago

I thought all you wanted was to be free, but of course as we all know we are not here because we are free we are here because we are not free.....theres no escpaing reason, no denying purpose because as we both know.........

ikkeweer5216d ago

Glad I had no competition there, and I almost played them all 4 except ME2 which I will get shortly.
Mine was Fallout New Vegas, despite the 30+ console freezes I had.

"John Marston Extinguishes Kratos"

2 shallow characters go head-2-head.

Red Dead Redemption is definitely not a bad choice, but my vote still goes to God of War 3.

N4WAH5216d ago (Edited 5216d ago )

I prefer GOW3 as well.

I thought RDR was great but the save feature in that game was so broken. I would run off a bunch of side missions than do a main mission, get killed, and the side missions I completed were erased and had to be repeated. It got to a point that I was saving the game literally after everything I completed.

I didn't mind the ending of RDR but I don't like how it played out after the ending if you went on to complete all the side missions and look for all the items. It was annoying. "Just like yah showed me paw. Come on yah damn nag." <--GRRRRRRR / freaking annoying!

I wanted to have an out of body experience and shoot my own character.

Very Overrated, good game thou. It was worth its time..... but a Multi-Platform character beat a Exclusive character by only 2.7% says a lot....in my eyes O.o

Dont bring a blade to a gun fight

InvaderZim5216d ago

@Loner: Not even the Blade of Olympus??? **Crazy Eyes**

Areeb115215d ago

Dude.... If it was Kratos vs John Marston, Kratos would destroy him before Marston could even count to 3 'Mississippi'

Kratos > Marston. If you disagree, watch Kratos vs Cronos.

killajd5216d ago

Red Dead was a great game but didn't give me that, "oh wow" effect! GOW3 did, at like every part of the game. I want something that new and different and RDR didn't bring that.

kane_13715216d ago

stop it right there, i'm not gonna say don't think like that, just saying what i think, k?

i believe, that, before calling me any names ppl should check my comment history so they know that i am a PSdroid.
with that said, GOW3 literally sucked for the name of GOD OF WAR, had nothing special new, or fun, except the fact of using damn much of PS3's power for battles full of moving, living and a little bit thinking objects.
GOW3 was simply a good ending, just like MGS4 was simply a good game, not WHAT they should have been.
but, RDR, was innovative, and brought new content, feeling and meaning to a sandbox game.

and other really New and Innovative games were Bayonetta and Heavy Rain.
these games delivered all they were supposed to.
while GOW3 was a short wrap up of an epic

killajd5216d ago

Are u talking to me on saying wait a minute!

OllieBoy5216d ago

Kratos swam in the River Styx. John Marston automatically drowns in a shallow pond.

Advantage: GoWIII
