1C Company and Ubisoft have announced that the next entry in the IL-2 Sturmovik series – Cliffs of Dover – will be launched in March.
The historical flight simulator turns it’s rudder towards old Blighty this time to send players into the thunderous Battle of Britain. Spitfires and Hurricanes will feature in the battle against German Messerschmitts and the Stukas over southern England and the Channel. Fly through the jump for details and the new trailer.

I need to try it. I used to enjoy flight games like the Wing Commander series and the other Origin games as well as Red Baron Online on the Sierra Network but have not played many in recent years. Of course the X-Wing games as well.
Played the hell of out LucasArts Battle of Britain when I was a teen. Wing Commander too. Loved those dogfighting games.
I used to get all of the Origin ones. Strike Commander, the one set in WW2 and the WW1 game.

1C: Maddox Games has released a new update for aerial combat game IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover; game owners can download the update on Steam now. This update makes a number of improvements to better the performance of the game.
