FF XIII-2 : Cid Raines will be the companion of Lightning

In any case, the famous french website FINAL FANTASY DREAM supposes after seeing if we look more closely at the teaser for those few seconds showing the duo Lightning and this stranger?
By overlaying two images, one from the commercial version of the first title (FF XIII) and one from the teaser (FF XIII-2) , FFDream has come to the conclusion that this man is not so unknown that.

If this is a continuation of the story, I'd like to know how Cid is coming back. How he was ever a rival of Lightning's when it only seems like they met the one time.

This actually what made me a little sad, we never got to see enough of Cid, Yaag, & Jihl, which could of helped many areas in XIII.

hmmmm interesting, it does sorta look like cid, he was an awesome character, as above mentioned if they showed more of these characters (jihl, cid and yaag) the game woulda been better, instead of concentrating on the pope dude which i hated.
