Wow! I'm surprised to see a DLB Network article on here for once. Good job, Blingo. I've been visiting that site for a couple years now and have to say they've got one of the best podcasts around. Give it a listen if y'all haven't.

On topic, this list was pretty comprehensive. Good job. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years brings us as gamers!!

Good list taking note from the revolutionary games. A little bit to many shooters there though that belong there but it definitely needs more variety.

@CoD topic below: As one that owns all the CoDs this gen, hate is definitely acceptable to the latter games in the franchise IMO. DLC prices, hectic and unbalanced at times, rushing it out every year now. That said CoD4 is definitely one of the best FPS this gen

I dont care what any one says i forever luv my call of duty games.

An opinion is an opinion.

I'm not really liking your little "I don't care about anyone else's opinion" approach. :/

@BLACKBOIJONES -- I agree with you. A lot of people hate on the Call of Duty franchise. Just remember that N4G doesn't equal the gaming community. ;) In fact, it's nowhere near it.

lol :)

Well the reason why i said it like that is bcuz on n4g lots of people seem to diss call of duty thats why.

One luv :D

people diss CoD casue its popular, same with Halo, same with the sims, same with WoW

most of those people are gaming elitist morons

Looking at all their top 10's I am staggered that Shadow of the Colossus is only in one of them

blumatt2925d ago (Edited 2925d ago )

Yes, some people disrespect CoD because it's popular and then there's people like me who don't like it cause it's practically the same game over and over again. Some over-the-top action story that's completely unbelievable mixed with an online that's riddled with hackers and cheaters. Also, to be clear here, I absolutely loved CoD4, and was excited for MW2, only to be disappointed by an online that's not balanced very well at all and a story that was too melodramatic. Now, I'm a Battlefield fan. I HEART BC2.

Do people realise the last decade ran from 2000-2009?

2000-2010 is 11 years, not 10.

QuodEratDemonstrandm2925d ago

The mathematical concept of counting numbers suggests that 2001-2010 was the last decade. You are right about the eleven years thing. I found myself thinking this article was written by a guy who did just well enough on his GED to get a passing grade, probably just a few weeks ago. It was just overall bad writing and sloppy editing.

The choice of games wasn't too bad though. I would have added Little Big Planet, right between Uncharted and Heavy rain.

Halo is so completely over-rated it's not even funny.

MrChow6662925d ago

you not liking it doesnt mean its over-rated

blumatt2925d ago

Come on, man. It IS kinda overrated. It's a good game, to be sure, but it's nothing like people act like.

Marquis_de_Sade2925d ago

In my opinion there is nothing overrated about Halo CE, but the subsequent sequels? It's certainly more questionable.
