Top Ten: Anticipated Games of 2011

GamingUnion.net: "2011 is shaping up to be a pretty incredible year in gaming. Some of my favourite franchises over the last few years - Uncharted, Mass Effect and MotorStorm to name a few - are set to return and in spectacular fashion.

Combined with the current console debuts from revered studios Team Ico and id Software, what more could you ask for this year? That being said, the following are my most anticipated games currently scheduled for 2011, in alphabetical order."

Amazing how many exclusives (or heavy-hitting multi-platform titles in some cases) the PS3 has this year.

Microsoft and Nintendo are kinda weak in comparison. *laughs*

it should be one hell of a year, the list didn't even hit on killzone 3 and resistance 3.

Two pretty big omissions, Gears 3 was only an honourable mention too.

My definition of an "anticipated" game is something the public doesn't know much of or hasnt seen much of. Uncharted, gears and Killzone are games we have seen gameplay from and know what to expect. A really good example of an anticipated game would be Last Guardian.

If anything the start of this year eclipses last year for me, and 2010 was pretty baller.

Definitely looking forward to Uncharted 3 and Mass Effect 3, also intrigued to see how inFamous' story develops. I'm actually looking forward to killzone 3 at the moment most of all which wasn't on the list.

Yea, inFamous 2 is one that's more on the fence for me.

I'm really looking forward to Mass Effect 3 though. Can't wait to get my hands on that.

I can't wait to see what Sucker Punch can do when they really get the time to develop for PS3. The original inFamous' engine wasn't even optimized for the console and it still turned out great.

Wasn't inFamous 2 the one where fans bawked at the main character change before they switched it back?

it was a superficial design change, same character, but yea i believe they changed everything back, except the voice actor

L.A. Noire was once a PS3 exclusive and i really do hope L.A. Noire will sell well that game looks promising

Really not sold on LA Noire, need to see a lot more on that one, otherwise the list looks pretty solid, amazing how many of the great games of 2010 and now coming out in 2011

Nice list. ...... even tho there are 2 games that probably wasn't even thought which is Mortal Kombat & Marvel vs Capcom 3 ...... I'm really anticipating those # games !!!
