Loot-Ninja: Have you ever said to yourself, “I wish I had could play darts in my house without putting tons of holes in the wall”? If you have and you don’t have a local watering hole with some dart boards, you may be interested in Top Darts from Sony and Devil’s Details.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has launched the first of a newseries of PlayStation Vita Memory Card bundles, including a voucher to download eight videogame titles as part of the package. This is an extension of the campaign that began with the console bundle which included ten titles and is billed as the PS Vita Sports & Racing Mega Pack.
Geez, I would really like a VITA but it seems like EU gets all the cool deals.
They get the Vita Mega Pack while NA gets the Walking Dead Bundle.
They get these memory card bundles.
AND to top it off there PS Plus shits on NA. This month they got Jak & Daxter for Vita, NA got GTA PSP.
Not too bad a bundle, but i wish they would stop bundling PSP games with them. I like playing my PSP games on my Vita, but when it is advertised as a Vita bundle i would expect it to be solely Vita games....
EDIT: I thought there was a Vita Wipeout game, why include the PSP version?
"The Drop" over on the PS Blog featured a game that was available on both PS3 and the new PS Vita, officially dubbing the buy-one-get-one nature of title as a "Cross Purchase".
Rey Guttierez labeled the game as such, allowing all developers and publishers of future games with this marketing strategy to fall back on one term to better clarify the deal to consumers. It may take a while before everyone uses the term, but its safe to say that as long as the talented team at the PlayStation Blog continue to use it in this context, then all must use it.
Currently, it can be confusing reading about such a thing coming from three different developers. They use a ton of words to convey the same message: buy it on one, get the other for free. This applies to over a handful of released or upcoming PSN titles, as well as various DLC add-ons for games like Hustle Kings and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
I like the sound of 'transfarring' better of the new phrases.
It sounds allmost alien, as it rolls of the tongue. :P
However 'cross play' and 'cross purchase' is cool aswell, and probably more informative.
If it means I get the game on both systems for the price of one, I'm willing to call it whatever they want! :)
