LittleBigPlanet 2 Advertising Campaign Hits TV

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is set to unleash the highly-anticipated LittleBigPlanet 2 in the very near future, and so it comes as no surprise that the marketing strategy is already in full swing. And now, less than two weeks until release, the advertising campaign has hit UK television.

i was like finally then i see SCEE and again why does SCEA suck. SCEA didn't even push KZ2 but SCEE did. that the case for many games and why Ps3 can't win in the states. com on jack i want you to win so promote the dang games

Killzone 2 had commercials in the US so I'm not sure what you mean by "didn't even push".

I didn't have a PS3 at the time but I was definitely aware and when I bought a PS3 it was one of the first games I bought.

Edit: In the US there were definitely commercials pushing how great the graphics were.

As someone living in the UK SCEE are terrible. Yes we may get a few ads bt they are behind SCEA on everything else. Store, Collector's editions etc.

@jaredhart- I think what hes trying to say as that Sony's non-American divisions do a better job in advertising Sony exclusives than SCEA.

And it shows. Europe is Sony's biggest gaming market. Thats why Europeans get the "better" box arts and collector's editions of PS3 exclusives. Actually, Europeans get the better collectors editions of PS3 games PERIOD.

The AC: Brotherhood Limited Codex Edition was easily the best edition of the game, yet it was limited to Europe and Australia.

I'd like to see the commercial. Upload it to youtube.

How long will it last, if they is something sony is bad at and that is marketing there games. :/

Yes they do have adverts for them but after a while u dont c them any more, they dont pay tv companys too much money to keep there advert in there commercialstime scale for a long time.I giv LBP2 advert max 1-2 weeks and u will hardly see them on tv again.

I hope they do them as long as Assassins creed brotherhood, they went on for about 3 months

LittleBigPlanet was one of the first games I got for my PS3 and I'll always remember it first and foremost for the communal sense of online play; how pleasant it was to play with other people and help them with trophies/traversing levels. Prior to that, I was really only accustomed to hearing foul-mouthed punks on XboxLive blurting out racial slurs and just generally being a nuisance. LBP taught me that online play with strangers from all around the globe can be a joyful experience after all. Now I can't wait to do it all over again.
