Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Rage Quitter vs Honourless B******... FIGHT!

Marvel vs Capcom 3 will keep an invisible stat which monitors your connection habits. If it notices you pulling the plug during online games, it will start marking your reputation down. No-one else will see it, but the utterly amazing outcome is this: Rage quitters will be matched up with other rage quitters, allowing everyone else to enjoy the game in peace. Amazing.

Yes i hate when little b****** that are getting their asses handed to them go and pull the plug.More developers should do this.

Simon_Brezhnev5268d ago

yep lol rage quitter vs rage quitter that would be funny. I see it now a lot of hateful messages being sent between both of them.

Dart895268d ago

Wow 2 disagreeS looks like we have 2 people on n4g who enjoy pulling their cable when they're getting owned xDDD.

Hitman07695267d ago

f*k the play to win mother farkers!

try your sh* on me and I'll honourably disconnect on your asses that will surely break your ass!

Also that is stupid about the thing marking down your point, what if someone tripped over the cable or power cut?

anyway this will stop the cheap show off with their fark score-
WIN- 70 LOSE- 0

-Ninja Gaiden 3- is sick!:)

AnonUser55555267d ago

well im sure ONE disconnect wont suddenly tank your reputation; theyre looking at patterns. So if you have multiple d/cs...

A) youre a quitting bitch
Or
B) you really need to move your cables haha

Baka-akaB5267d ago

even ssf4 can most of the time detect a connection failure from a volontary one .

And if you are disconnected that often , you have no business playing the game competitively online .

Plus if you behave , you'll get out of juvie soon enough .

In short , no frickin' excuse for the lamers

Capcom reveals its PC game [digital] sales overshadow console, and it's only growing

The earnings reports of Capcom's Fiscal year 2024 showcase the growth of PC over console, with 60% of game sales being made on the former.

Vits18d ago

What’s interesting is that, given how well their games sell, it’s very likely most of them fall into the 25/75 revenue split bracket. The larger ones, like Monster Hunter, are in the 20/80 bracket.

So even accounting for the vastly superior regional pricing on PC, I wouldn’t be surprised if revenue-wise from digital sales, both platforms are close, or if PC is ahead as well.

neutralgamer199217d ago (Edited 17d ago )

Yes PC is the biggest platform and it has definitely improved as a home console of sort plug and play. It's the only platform with actual freedom for gamers with modding. I was a console gamer for over 38 years and now I only play on Pc. Whether you are buying pre-built or building it yourself it's now easier than ever before to jump in

And my experience with pc gamers has been excellent, they are helpful with any questions on pc boards

FPS_D3TH17d ago

As a gamer who also loves replaying his old favorite titles, possibly with a few mods as well, I can’t imagine ever getting another console.

Profchaos17d ago (Edited 17d ago )

They spoke about resident evil and monster hunter I would actually find the monster hunter breakdown more interesting tbh as I've always felt like this game would be at home on PC

but for resident evil it's always felt like a PlayStation mainstay despite having exclusivity elsewhere likely because it was where I first played it. The game feels like it's begging to be played lights off in the loungeroom late at night or also in VR I've never been as scared as I was playing re7 in VR

Is this really suprising? Looking at the evolution of the Switch, X|S and Playstation 5?

Eonjay17d ago

The biggest cause is probably the lack of game purchases on the Xbox platform. Also keep in mind this is only digital sales so there is a chunk of sales not being shown here.
