"Sold to retail =/= sold"

Um, yeah it does. I think you mean sold to retail =/= sold to consumers

Microsoft wrote at CES2011 in big letters for everyone to read "8 million sold" and they never said in any interview or video chiped! I know it's hard to swallow but it is true!

Accept it fanboy

Does it matter? Its selling well, big deal, there is still nothing really good to play on it other than dance central...

sold to retailers doesn't mean squat if consumers aren't buying it which means your user base isn't expanding.

That doesn't really apply to this case, though, now does it? Consumers ARE buying. The retailers would not of bought so many Kinect's if they thought they wouldn't of been sold.

If it doesn't apply to this case, what case does it apply to? Is there a product retailers do buy a lot of thinking it's not going to sell?
