Iwata Defends 3DS 3D Warning

Andriasang: Nintendo issued a warning a few weeks back saying that the 3DS's 3D mode should not be used by children six years and under. At this weekend's Nintendo World event, Nintendo had young children play demos exclusively in 2D, and even enforced this rule by having parents stick a special sticker featuring the Toad character to their children.

this is how you protect yourself from frivolous law suits....people in the States have won millions over dumber things...anyone remember the woman who burned her tongue because the coffee was hot at McD's...she won roughly $3 million because there was no warning on the cup that said the coffee was hot

smart on Nintendo to do could of cost them millions....companies take this stuff very seriously

Toshiba, Sony, Panasonic will all issue the same warnings for 3DTV just like videogames "may cause siezures"'s simply the right thing to do. But anyone over 6 should stop the panic over this. Nintendo sells 10's of millions to teens and adults...this is for this safety of developing eyes.
