Looks pretty good. Nice to know your feet aren't glued to the earth to shoot. This doesn't feel oldschool RE. I didn't like RE5 and both of these games look like they are RE5 side stories.

3DS is going to be a killer handheld. Can't wait to see what comes out this year for it.

they have to recycle alot of material cause they lost all their great game developers: Shinji Mikami, Hideki Kamiya, and most recently Keji Infaune (this one is a stretch for him handing off DMC to a U.K. game developer).

Either way I remember when the producer of RE 5 was asked about RE 6 he said, "Personally, I don't think I'm gonna deal with Resident Evil 6 at all,” he continued. ”As far as the series is concerned I'm not planning to return until at least two more Olympics have passed!"

He also talked about during the development of RE 5 he felt, “extreme pressure” following the footsteps of Shinji Mikami, "Yes, it's true we did feel extreme pressure - and Mikami-san's shadow - after Resi 4"

Which explains why just about all of the game mechanics in RE5 are copied from Resident Evil 4 only thing that's new is the Co-Op system.

but the biggest problem resident evil was one of the best games ever but now one of the most disappointing games
and also capcom totally ost their mind look to their games
1- dark void 4/10
2- lost planet 2 5/10
3- resident evil 5 8/10

D@mn I forgot about that guy! But yeah Capcom and Square Enix are dropping the ball recently.

I mean I remember like 8 years ago if a game had a Capcom or Square Enix logo on it then the game was either gold or pretty decent. Now in days its either pretty decent or its really poor quality.

I don't understand why make a game that is already out 2 year ago in ps3/pc/xbox360?? This is just so plain stupid...who want to play this half ass mini game again just because it is in 3D handheld.

Maybe its to give Nintendo owners a taste of RE5 mercenaries. Companies need to put their games on as many machines as possible to maximise profit.

Tech demo maybe? To show it can do console quality games(except the graphics). Besides, we're getting a new RE on it called Revelations.

Maybe because it's an ultimate version of Mercenaries mode from RE4&5. I love this mode the most from whole RE5, and I'm thrilled I will be able to play it as new characters (Clarie is reason enough for me to get excited), have more maps, and some new options (maybe music will be new too, I hope).

Both PS1 and PS2 It was the Resident Evil: Survivor series though it was more of a Rail Shooter than an FPS.

The presentation video on Nintendo everything actually has gameplay of Claire. Along with that kicking assault fire mercenaries theme ;)

Its a pity this couldn't have been better quality for this vid. But the graphics are really good considering this is a handheld.

The PSP2 must have this 3D tecnology to gain some momentum over the 3DS when it comes out.

lol... I remember people complaining about not being able to move and shoot... and they now think it's not RE because you can move and shoot

you can never make people happy, they will alywas bitch about something.

Personally I'm quite happy with the whole-moving-while-shooting thing and FPS view. I like how it was in RE5 but that way is fine too. The only thing I was unhappy about was that I couldn't dodge when I want, only at certain enemy attacks and I would change moving speed (like "walk/run/very fast run"). Yet, how it is, is still fine fro me.
