Edit---I completely agree about the maps though, almost every Cod 4 map felt good to be on. I don't like any from MW2 I think, I can only remember 2 and didn't like them, that airfield one wasn't so bad but that's it. WAW, I thought it was alright, tanks ruined it by being overpowered. Bo is the best since 4 imo, but it's still nowhere near 4 and the maps are decent but still not on 4's level.

What I find funny is that everyone bad talks black ops, however, just watch the DLC Map pack for blackops is going to sell like crazy. Why if you hate the game so much do you play it. Honestly I would prefer that people stop playing blackops instead of all these articles saying how much they hate it. And you know the author is probably going to continue playing.

well i think that the dlc will sell very well due to the franchise. I've been playing black ops a lot less now and going back to cod4 as the amount of problems on ps3 is just unbearable. Especially LAG!

The thing is that Call of Duty is best played on small-medium maps. Look at Showdown, Rust, Nuketown, Terminal and Highrise. They were very fun maps because the action was so easy to pick up. Big maps aren't very good because it slows the gameplay down too much. Games like Battlefield are meant for bigger maps.

Call of Duty 4 was the most out balanced one of them all, Juggernaut and Stopping power? Two claymores? Overpowered weapons (M16, Ak47, Noob tubes) Only thing I enjoy NOW is the maps of CoD4.

Only reason we enjoyed CoD4 SO MUCH is because it was a new modern instalment of Call of duty and the fact that it was a proper next gen game.It was also the 'Halo' for PS3 users.

The only reason Call of Duty is finnaly reaching its so called 'peak' is because people are getting tired of it, theyre so used to it that its just the same experience over and over again. That, and the fact that since CoD4, players have become better and better, and this frustrates people and leads them to shouting out "THE AK74U is over powered!!" etc. If you were a team player, or had the ability to flank, then he wouldnt see you in the first place?

All I'm saying is that you can't blame CoD anymore, it's not their fault, if you hate the game, no longer play it and no longer say anything about it! I mean, why would you waste time over a game you dont play by bantering on the internet?

It's like saying you HATE Twilight, but you watch it 4 times a day and still hate it? Who would do that? Right? Well you guys seem to. Period.

Multiplayer hated MW2, have not played BO because I cba, WaW could have been great, COD4 had best recent COD multiplayer.

Best COD for me was COD3, really really good Single player reminded me of how great the original Medal of Honours were.

I don't really know... I hate the lag and bugs in Black Ops, but it's very fun to play alone or with friends. I'd say:

Call of Duty 4 > Black Ops > World at War (good campaign, horrible online experience with tanks and MP40 being ridicously overpowered) > Modern Warfare 2
