Rumors have been flying as of late as to which characters still have a chance to make it onto the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 roster. The latest names to prop up are Akuma and the Green Goblin. One could be real while the other one seems to be a fake. Let's break down on who might make it and who is left out.

One of the highlights of FanimeCon 2025 was the Capcom cosplay gathering.
Capcom has removed GFWL from PC versions of Lost Planet 1 and 2 as well as other titles on Steam alongside support for online features.
Akuma has a very Unique fighting style that i would love to see in MvC3, he was in my team in MvC2
My Team was Guile->Akuma->Storm
Now Green Goblin eh... i guess he might have some good antiair attacks as he throws grenades in the Comics. Not to sure about him though.
Akuma is thee best street fighter enemey and so strong it is not even funny so he will bring competition. Green goblin the same thing in spider man and is crazy and dont give a dam about anything. great challenge as well.

Just saying Akuma is in MVC3 is enough no more needed....green goblin should be interesting.
