Parabellum is a Strategy First Person Shooter (SFPS) focused on urban warfare. A whole city is waiting to be conquered in a giant multiplayer campaign. Parabellum offers intense round based action with tactical and strategic depth.
German videogameblog Videospielkultur.de claims that they have an internal source at Acony who told them that the Free 2 Play-Shooter Parabellum will leave it's military setting and move towards a Theatre Game Show setting. They plan to move in the direction of Jack Ass and want to include some freaky moves like jumping and aiming with two pistols. After years of development it's still not clear when the game is going to be released, but it's not the first time the developers are changing the whole game.

Gamesnation: The world of online games has always been divided into two major groups, based on the type of enjoyment offered to players: free or fee. In course of time they were born many hybrids, such as products, but with free access "items" on payment, or those games where the cost of development is covered by advertising within the environment of the game itself.

I remember it previously looked very similar to UT3, as if it were some off-shoot mod for the game. Now it's got it's own distinct flair to it, and it looks pretty nice I must say.
Still don't know enough about it, but I welcome the evolution of it's style.
