MeGamers - Bakugan: Defenders of the Core is one of those games where the ridiculousness of it all is only understandable if you are a die hard fan of series, or else you will be as lost as a child in an adult bar (under six of years age that is). For those who don’t know anything here is a little intro to the story (if you’re a loyal fan then you can skip this portion): Bakugan are creatures from another world called vestroia which turn into small balls when they enter our world through a portal. The Bakugan turn into their original selves when they are put into battle. Those who use these Bakugan are called “Brawlers”.
Msxbox-world takes a look at the latest Bakugan game on Xbox 360. It's one for the kids, but is it worth it?
gamesblip writes: Yeah, like we know anything much about Bakugan. So, we got responsible (for once) and dragged in a 10-year-old boy to help us out with this review...
My brother loves the Bakugan cards, so I'm thinking of getting him this for Christmas.
Examiner: A little bit of every potential Japanese trading-whatever fad is bundled into Bakugan: Defenders of the Core, and it’s apparent from the moment you start playing: the over-hyped music, the over-enunciated English dubs, the over-balanced battles… really everything is just hyper. That’s why you get what you pay for, and coming from the television show and manga series, it’s definitely enough to give fans something to enjoy, even if it’s not for everyone.
