Sure 1998 had games like Metal Gear Solid, Gran Turismo, and Zelda: Ocarina of Time. But it was the PC that took all the awards that year. Who can forget the graphics cards, and games such as Half-Life, Starcraft, Grim Fandago, and Fallout 2. Innovative and imaginative games like these ensured the PC would dominate the next few years of gaming.
If you are looking for an awesome RPG, look no further. Steam is offering a significant discount on its Fallout Franchise Bundle.
"You can get all Fallout games in a bundle at a significant 20% discount on Steam. Individually, all these games add up to $244.91. With the discount, you can get them all for $195.91. That is $49 less than the original price. Quite a significant discount for such a popular franchise."
😊 😂 🤣 😐 - But why?
Just wait for a sale and get most if not all of it for a fraction of that price.
20% off...lol
The original games have been given out for free by Amazon for GOG and Epic, 76 is free now on Amazon if you have prime, Epic has also given out new Vegas for free and 4 has gone down to pretty cheap prices. 194 bucks is a total ripoff when you can get these games individually for less. Don't forget cd keys might sell em for a dollar less at times too. Come on man, us cheapskates won't touch anything near or above 100 lolz
"Treat your players as you would like to be treated, that's it," Vincke says when asked about how to maintain trust with a game's community.
The Elder Scrolls: Baldur's Gate 3.
Kinda cool I guess. Seems they just allowed the camera to zoom in right on top of the characters head and then able to control movement like a fps. Makes me wonder what the game would be like if I didn't ever zoom way out and scroll over the environment to check out for enemies nearby almost constantly.
Oh stop with the HAlF-LIFE THIS AND THAT SERiously it's gettin old like hell.
I liked this article. It makes me think I should get a gaming laptop and start buying games from Steam.
Good times... I remember when the first rainbow six game was released and many PC magazines were saying that the game graphics were close to real life... How things changed.
FAIL.
I played more Warcraft III than anything else, when I wasn't playing Socom II I was playing Warcraft III, Half-Life 2, and CS: Source
Yea 98 all around was a great year for gaming. Some PC games I would also agree with
Unreal
Half-Life (still one of the best games ever up there with the original MGS for me)
Grim Fandango (great Adventure too bad they don't make games like this anymore Manny was the man....or skeleton)
Heretic II (underrated great 3rd person game by Raven)
StarCraft (one of my all time favs with Half-Life played it forever)
Rainbow Six (Lead to games like CS and so forth)
Thief: The Dark Project (one of the best games ever)
Baldur's Gate (one of the best RPG's ever)
98 was truly a great year, good times. I remember I was broke that year. Because I constantly was buying new games.
