Some new games would be nice Microsoft :-)

Don't be surprised if they put more kinect stuff down our throats. After all, they have said that "2011 is all about Kinect"

Tinasumsum3237d ago

MS's director of Xbox and Entertainment for the UK:
"As for the future, we've got a brilliant line-up for 2011 but it's ultimately all about Kinect. Kinect is going to blow people's minds. They're [already] buying it, but we've got a line-up of Kinect games that will blow people away."

Xbox Group Product Manager David Dennis:
"We have other games in the pipeline, Kinect games, non-Kinect games, core and casual games, and other third-party titles," Dennis said. "We've also got some tricks up our sleeve that we haven't announced on the Xbox Live front as well. I think we certainly feel like we have the setup for great, continued momentum."

How in the world did fanboys spin Microsoft saying they got a killer lineup but they are very excited about Kinect's offerings in 2011?

Don't understand your disagrees, they official stated their main focus will be kinect.

Tinasumsum3237d ago (Edited 3237d ago )

He's getting disagrees because he has hand picked selected phrases from a quote and is spinning what was said like you are. Where did Microsoft say the are dropping support of standard gaming and will "focus" on Kinect alone? They said they have a killer lineup and Kinect will have a proper killer lineup and other offerings this year.

DON'T expect games at CES. If you have watched this event in passed year, 99.9% nothing to do with games.

The Lazy One3236d ago

yea lambak knows what's up. CES is a lot more about electronics as a whole. There will probably be a lot of windows phone 7 and microsoft tablets being shown off, but for the past 5 years they haven't really spent more than 5 minutes on video games because nobody goes to CES for games.

Looking forward to some kinect as well as non kinect related games. Not sure what all the complaints are about but kinect rocks. I don't expect gaming news but you never know.

I'm hoping for some surprises.

Vegetom3237d ago (Edited 3237d ago )

I hope they give us a release date for the WP7 launch in the Netherlands (and other countries) and some cool new 360 games and Kinect features of course. :)

OC_MurphysLaw3237d ago

I would love to hear about games of course...would be thrilled if the "rumored" kinect update that was shut down by MS turned out to be true. Would love to hear about more enhancements to Live ...more free features like the Texas Holdem game woudl be great...hell make it Kinect friendly for all I care. Holdem will be fun no matter what. Just give us some cool new news that we didnt know prior to CES...get me excited for 2011.

Will there be a liveblog with picture for the entire CES11 ? It's too bad i never can go to these shows. (E3, CES, TGS Etc etc)

N4PS3G3236d ago

You can watch it live this year, there's a live stream. Seeing how Major Nelson is hyping it, they probably have some good announcements for the game division.

He ended by saying: " What are we going to announce? "

The Lazy One3236d ago

CES is one of the more widely documented trade shows. Places like cnet, G4, and whatnot will be on the showfloor all week and almost every major keynote is broadcast online somewhere.

A lot of mainstream news sources do wrap ups after the week is over too.
