"The votes have been tallied, albeit late due to international travel and various holidays. We hope yours were relaxing and enjoyable, and with that, we get on back to work and present the 5 most anticipated RPGs, according to your votes." -RPG Land
I'm trying to kinda force the whole Tales series out of my mind since localization hopes seem so dim. Sad but it's what I feel I must do. :( Would definitely like to play most of these though!
They're out there... http://www.neogaf.com/forum... (rest of that thread gets pretty crazy too, http://www.neogaf.com/forum... Lots of people wanting to play that one, myself included. Not my #1, but for a nostalgic fan of the original, I can understand being that level of hyped for it.
I should explain myself better it's not Tactics Ogre that Im piss about but the way the site has only include one line, come on write a bit more don't leave it up to a readers email to explain why it's number two
I bought it too when it was on offer via Steam. Have also pre-ordered the second one too when it arrives in May because I was impressed with how it looks.
yeah I have bought HL2: Ep. 1&2, GTA4 pack, Bros in Arms, Mount and Blade WarBand, and The Witcher on steam the past 2 weeks. So many games so little time.
Well for this year my top RPG is the witcher 2. Then it is diablo 3, I will probably give two worlds 2 a shot due to the positive press it has received lately. Then of course elder scrolls (day 1). I'm also hoping FF versus gets released this year because I'll get that for sure.
Diablo 3 this year? I'm definitely not counting on that - now that GT5 has been released, I've sort of been expecting D3 to become the next recurring release date joke. Although perhaps in recent years Blizzard have cut back a bit on the length of their seemingly eternal "polishing" phases? We did get StarCraft 2 last year after all, and a new WoW expansion.
Still, I think I'll stick to expecting a Diablo 3 release somewhere between 2013 and 2015 :p.
You should have voted for it then. It's based mostly on votes sent in. In fact, it talks about ES5: Skyrim right in the intro. Since this is a monthly thing, it having two less weeks than the other games apparently set it back.
No Elder Scrolls V or The Last Story? Come on... There probably aren't any RPG's coming out this year more anticipated than those two. Diablo III will probably be further delayed as well. It doesn't even have a definitive release date yet.

These list are getting poorer and poorer by the day, just look at number 2,
2) Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together (PSP)
“Easily my most anticipated game of 2011, not just RPG.” -Gifford, via email
Witcher 2 FTW!!!
I just got The Witcher off steam for 5 bucks. So far its pretty interesting but also bought a lot of other crap so I'm backlogged.
Elder Scrolls???
