PS3Attitude writes: "Sometimes, there are games you can always go back to no matter what. Even though Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Bayonetta, and God of War III are all awesome, they never fully satisfied my needs as a gamer. There was just something missing and they all felt too familiar. Unique experiences like Heavy Rain are great and all, but it’s not exactly what I’m looking for in a game. Is it a must have? Absolutely. There’s only so much you can get from Heavy Rain though, and that’s a problem when you want more.
This year, there was one game that went beyond pushing buttons, understanding an intriguing story, or simply having fun. It became something far more significant, shaping the way I think, the things I want to do, and provided experiences that are both nostalgic and new at the same time. That game was Super Street Fighter IV, my 2010 Game of the Year."
Fighting games are a damn tough genre to break into, so much to learn from characters and combo systems to the small intricate details of each title. It can all be a bit overwhelming so I am here to help you to get gud at fighting games!
I swear by Injustice being the most accessible fighting game out there. Play Injustice!
Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeah. I need to do ALL THE THINGS on here lol Minus the salty, I've never been that guy when it comes to video games.
Maybe these myths are a way of injecting some mystery and fascination into games that we’ve become so familiar with. Perhaps we’re desperate to recapture how we once felt when first playing through them; deluding ourselves into believing that there’s more to experience – even though deep down we know we’ve seen it all.
Alternatively, there’s the reality that growing up, we were just a lot more susceptible to rumours and hoaxes than we are now. Yeah, that’s probably it – there’s no way these things would fly today. Everyone knows the alien in GTA V’s forest is real anyway.
Over the years, the Street Fighter series has introduced some great characters to it's collection of fighters. Here are some of Street Fighter's best characters.
I look for a game that gives me this certain euphoric feeling. After I completed GOW3, the entire following week I felt like I was on cloud nine. The experience I had was so mind blowing, I just felt ecstatic the next week. Its something I'll never forget. Few games have ever matched that feeling I had. Demon's Souls did it when I finally got that platinum trophy, and Shadow of the Colossus did it when I slayed the final beast.
I look for games that can cause a whirlwind of emotions, good or bad. It rarely happens, but when it does its incredible. It just goes to show how mature and enveloping games have become that they can create so many different emotions.
I'm looking for a game with the following
Single Player:
A great experience with memorable character that you feel connected to and when they get hurt you feel their pain. I also want a story that you can keep coming back to and feel refreshed every time. Preferably with great graphics and gameplay too.
Multiplayer:
A great community and great elements that make it stand out from other games. And something that you never get tired of.
Sadly though, uncharted 2 and infamous are the only games that have met these expectation, minus the "keep going back to the story" thing but i do enjoy watching people playing uncharted. Hopefully uncharted 3 will satisfy these things. Although, i haven't played many games this generation so i am slightly biased towards these games, any body have some recommendations for games with these elements (doesn't have to have the multiplayer) that are ps3 exclusives?
fun.
The same thing expected of any hobby,a meaningful, enjoyable, interesti ng diversion.
