Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Legend of Mana and more to become PSOne Classics

The ESRB has released several new PSOne Classics (including Legend of Mana, Vagrant Story, Xenogears and more) that will be coming soon to the North American Playstation Store.

Vagrant story is already there isn't it? Got it already, i'll be honest, I torrented Xenogears and legend of mana. I'll buy them when they come out on Psn, just so long as the original devs get a decent amount of the money I pay. I torrented FF7,8 and bought them when I could on Psn. The Pc versions have midi music haha, they suck compared to the console versions.

Edit--I would love a remake of Xenogears, in anime format, do it like Naruto UNS2 or Valkyria chronicles. It really deserves a remake, it has the ballsiest story of any Square game imo. To tackle so much differant stuff at once and succeed, although I would prefare if they complete the second disk

It wasn't until FFX that they got rid of the midi music. The console versions had them as well.

Seriously, look it up, for some reason the Ps1 is much higher quality. One winged angel has no voices/choir either in the pc version. Although you can replace the Pc's midi files with WAV or whatever the PS version's ones are if you want.

Edit---Not sure if they're not midi on Ps1, but they are better.

I'll buy Xenogears from the PSN again.

Why? Because $9.00 is worth my lazy ass not having to physically find and insert the disc everytime I want to play Xenogears.

And because I support the developers of Xenogears, and singer Joanne Hogg.

I'll be getting them so I can play them on the go on my PSP. Love that the PSP can do that!

I own Xenogears and Vagrant Story on Disc so I may hold off on those games and pick up Legend of Mana so I have a new game to play.

Glad they're finally coming though, hope they bring even more awesome PS1 games!

Me, i do have the actual disc of:

1. Xenogears (bought it on ebay after 2 year of release in North America ... $80)

2. Vagrant Story (Got stuck i wasn't able to finish it)

3. Arc the Lad Collector's Edition

They are still in my shelves nice and clean in mint condition. I take care all of my videogames.

I just bought Legend of Mana in mint condition where the guy only played the disc once. I already have Xenogears, and Vagrant Story on my original PS. Ah the glory days of SquareSoft; where pretty much every game they released was an instant classic. Nowadays almost everything S-E releases is a near-instant failure in contrast. How the Wada have fallen...

If they remastered Einhander and released it in HD via the PSN, I would cream myself. I'd be more stoked for that, than a remake of FFVIII. I'm a huge proponent of Square remaking FFVII too, so that is saying something.

I would have bought it regardless, but if I have the choice to play it after the first two, I would much rather wait!

Should be out on the PSN a few weeks prior to the release of The 3rd Birthday.

At least that's how it was done on the JP PSN.

yes. everything else is on par with ff7. If you can stand the graphics then you are able to enjoy it.

I've been waiting for Xenogears and Vagrant Story for way, way, way too long, and I'm glad that they're finally going to find a new audience through PSN! Besides the point that they should have released these four years ago, I'm content with that, but wait a minute... what do we have here...

R4!!!! That's up there in my top five PS1 games ever, and it's the best Ridge Racer by far. The soundtrack alone is worth the purchase. So excited. For me, all the US classics store needs now is Einhander. I'm waiting.

I've never played Xenogears since it was never published in Europe. I hope we get Xenogears in EU PSN too. It seriously pisses me off that something happened to my USA account and I no longer can use my credit card to buy stuff from US PSN.
