There have been reports that the PlayStation Phone is heading for North America and Europe somewhere around Spring of 2011. The Japanese newspaper Asahi Shimbun describes the PlayStation phone’s design as being based on the PSP Go. The phone will run on Google’s Android OS and there is a possibility that the phone will not see to a touch screen.
Tech savvy readers are well aware of the Sony Ericcson device and it's been a slow push getting the desirability to market mainly due to lack of content and games that would make it useful. Some folks have mentioned that having to re-purchase a PS1 title just to play it again on your phone doesn't seem fair. That's all about to change, at least for one hacker.
It kinda needed it. Sony should just get smart and release an emulator with free roms anyway. Or cheaper to buy roms, like $.50 each.

Oh God, delayed again :(
The more I hear about this device the more it seems like it's gonna be another nGage. Honestly I don't care what happens to this PlayPhone, because I just want them to hurry up and focus on the PSP2 if they aren't already.
I think that its the wrong time for a PS phone. If it comes out around the same time as the PSP2 announcement, then half the people they will try to aim it at just wont care, especially since the PSP2 is most likely going to be a monster when it comes to graphics.
How in God's name did this get approved? Whoever submitted this clearly should not run a web site, let alone post this drivel here. Got enough ads on your website buddy? Just because your crap site is getting the attention it deserves (none) doesn't mean we have to suffer.
Yet another site that's a clear-cut example of shoddy game journalism. Pretty pathetic.
Me want! :)
