Young British developer Devil's Details brings to the PS3 one of the most accomplished dart game little money can buy. Discover how in this exclusive video analysis of Top Darts provided by iWaggle3D.
merry christmas iwaggle, great vid again!
cant you just get a real dart board for 20 bux? and then actually learn real darts?
By that logic, you could just get a cheap-o table tennis setup for about the cost of two Move controllers. Or, you could get some frisbees and go to the park to play frisbee golf. Or, you could buy some airsoft guns and have multiplayer matches with your friends... Or, just join the army and get paid to be in a real life Call of Duty. There's always a real-life version to video games. The point of video games is that it can all be contained in one area. Now, you can play frisbee, KZ3, table tennis, etc without needing a giant rec room or gymnasium. Darts is just another game on the list.
Sure, but you'll also need to learn how to fix drywall, and possibly how to do first aid.
Actually ,.. it looks pretty cool,.. :) (but you cannot hit bartender in the eye,.. :) ) and lol boby kotick pic,.. Merry Christmas, from me also,..
boby kotic pic,.. you get over 9000 score multipayer if you hit him in the eye,..
Great Video. Just sold me another game iwaggle. BTW, I love the flower soundtrack.
This guy does such a good job. This game looks like it would be really easy with the way the aiming works, though. It just looks like you practically can't miss. I would like them to release a demo so I could try it, but i suppose a lot of people would just play the demo and skip the purchase.
It's very easy to hit the big segments of the dartboard, even on the highest levels. Not so the double and treble circles ones, which are those you actually have to aim for in most game modes. X01 is the game League and Cups are built upon and it's quite challenging actually.
great vid. love your move video's
i bought this game, and i love it.and no its not that easy to shoot.you have to adjust your shot.the ai or pretty tough.game gets 4 out of 5 stars imo.
I'm worse at this than I was at real darts back when I played it regularly many years ago :). You need a pretty steady hand for this game (and obviously for real darts as well for that matter), and it's really only now that I notice mine isn't quite as much that as it was 15 years ago. Just holding the reticle steady enough to lock onto the target - even when zoomed in - is enough of a challenge :p, and once I throw I often over or undershoot the target, but of course having to hold the Move very steady during the throw is obviously a good thing, otherwise the game would be way too easy. It's safe to say though, that while this feels like a well executed darts game (I've been playing for half an hour so far), the bulky Move controller doesn't exactly make for the perfect dart analogue when you're trying to hold it in the same way. But short of a rather unusual hardware revision there's probably no way around that. A question to anyone else with the game (can't recall if it was mentioned in the iWaggle video) - does the "sim mode" do anything but turn the game into a race of who can throw fastest and be least confused by all the darts and reticles flying around on the screen? "Sim" usually means the mode that comes closest to simulating the real sport, that was most definitely not the case with the sim mode 501 game I just tried.
"Sim" simply refers to "simultaneous" in this case. By turning it on you can access games built for simultaneous play like the Novelty ones (Cut & Mouse, Fuse, Mayhem)
Well after some re going over this video im gonna buy this game. theres not many games i buy on psn only ones really are good enough. but i cant help but think this engine looks as good as hustle kings. fantastic you sold me on this game iWaggle3D cheers keep up the reviews. bubble added
