I kinda like how he gets the questions from all kinds of forums like Neogaf, IGN and Gamespot and not just his own official forums.

I also like that he really wants to concentrate on the single-player campaign of the game, nowadays too many games concentrate alot on multiplayer and neglect the single-player. I also like that they still have the bosses and want to create amazing stories in the game. How often do you still get bosses in a racing game?

As well as online and offline split-screen which has really really been neglected in this generation. So I like how PS3 exclusives are trying to bring splitscreen back in 2011 with Twisted Metal and Killzone 3.

Ya i've been following what he writes on neogaf (whole pages of info at times)...its pretty impressive how in touch he is with his fans. I've never seen any other dev put anywhere near as much effort into getting involved in the community as he has. Im buying his game just for that (and cause twisted metal is awesome ;p)

Jaffe is the man.

Some might not like jaffe's tendency to mouth off everything on his mind but i do appreciate his frankness and passion for the games he create.

TwistedMetal is always going to be a day one purchase for me but i'm seriously considering the collector edition if they ever decide to do one.

I love that hes not neglecting the Singleplayer. To many games dont pay enough attention to the sp today. I like alot of what he was saying. I never owned a TM game but now im interested and will keep an eye on it.

Well it is TM so the single player, even at it's most fleshed out, might seem too old school for newcomers.

Like he said, its car combat, not missions. Even so, the vibe, cutscenes, bosses, etc always made it coherent and meaningful.

Ahhh yes TM i'm glad they are implementing multiplayer but they are really focusing on the sp which is good in the end it will be win win for the customer and devs.

I was reading through his twitter and found this dlc for TM if it sells enough what do u guys think?

xcited for TM DLC.If TM does well enough to merit DLC,how COOL that we can ship out new car chase/car combat scenarios, vehicles,& weapons

Scar you pic is just unbelievable. Love it. now TM is a great game from the great PS hidden gem games every week days. I miss those days when you would be getting demo discs with all sort of obscure crazy titles. This is one of those Sony franchises that has the legs to be a blockbuster hit depending on the mechanics. What we can take heart in is that David Jaffee is a true gamer and he was the mind behind TM2 and GoW series with some great controls. I have high hopes for this game.

My heart skipped the beat when I read that.

I think in this day and age, MP>SP. Doesn't mean I want a crappy SP experience though... Don't get me wrong, but I've turned into a SP mode that I'd like to have online Co-op on, and then a great MP to give me replay value afterwords.

Anyway, it's been way too long without a great Twisted Metal game. Here's to hoping they don't screw this up!

I was hoping we could drive around as MINION. Twisted Metal 2, with my friend as minion, was pure lol experience.

No biggie though, I can settle for a minion [boss] appearance.
