SNK collects many of their most popular characters in a bizarre shooter that will probably baffle all but the most diehard NeoGeo fans. Full review by Brittany Vincent.
Original Gamer - Neo Geo Heroes: Ultimate Shooting is a little known title available exclusively through the PlayStation Store for the PSP. The game itself is heavily rooted in the King of Fighters franchise, a series widely popular in Japan having achieved relatively moderate success in the United States.
Neo Geo Heroes Ultimate Shooting is a game that aims straight at the hearts of Neo Geo fans. From the somewhat nonsensical title yelled in Engrish at the title screen to the point-increasing "100Mega" medals, this game is soaked in SNK culture. It’s nice to see a company take a look at their past and make a game that revels in it.
411mania: NEOGEO Heroes, the new fighting game/bullet hell mash up, has just hit the PSP as a downloadable title and it's a pretty fun little game. Players can choose one of ten SNK characters from several different SNK franchises like King of Fighters, Metal Slug and Samurai Showdown to play as.
