I didn’t really want to write a piece on what I thought were the best games of the year. That kind of work is too subjective and personal. Instead; I wanted to talk about the titles that are likely to have the most impact on anything coming up. For better or for worse, the substance of these new games will leave a lasting legacy on the shape of our hobby.
