Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada has said that he regrets letting all Square Enix’s games get so “sloppy,” and says the company will have to rebuild them all as a result.
Atleast they acknowledge it unlike other people*looks at Activision*
Still, this is a, "circling the bowl" bad sign. And if they've been "sloppy" up until now, what does that say about vsXIII? @jc48573: This isn't funny, its sad. Square is a full blown mess, they're finally saying as much, yet they have no idea how to fix themselves. Dumping Wada is probably the first thing they should do, but who's going to take his place?
He knew what he was doing when he was doing it. He just thought that he could get away with it. Wada needs to go. His appeal to the west hasn't, and wont, work.
Would say this might be a good time for Sony to come in and buy them outright, but Square's not in the kind of shape to be left to their own creative ability - because they don't really have any. Bring Sakaguchi back. Even though that will likely mean the end of FF as a franchise in name, but that would be better than it ending altogether.
Sakaguchi...lol...he's the one who messed up with that stupid movie..lol. Reason why Square Soft died. Sony AND Square lost a lot of money on that bad movie.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. Its worth the gamble that he's learned his lesson, and besides, who else is there? Namora seems to focused on action adventure games to make a basic RPG.
I suggests start making your games exclusive for the ps3 on 1 disc with not cuts for dlc.
FINALLY!!! *braces for quality console games from square enix*
