"For the most part, children's games fall into one of two categories. The first is for basic games, where players engage in a simpler genre like basic platforming and have fun. The second is that of educational tools, where the gameplay ends up being even simpler and the end goal is to teach children instead of pacify them per-se. Mega Blocks Diego's Build and Rescue tries to incorporate both, as you imagine a Nick Jr.-based show might do, with moderate success. While its educational value is minimal, as far as gameplay goes the game actually does a pretty good job."
