Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 Coming To iPhone, iPad (Gameplaybook)

EA is bringing Mortal Kombat bloody goodness to iPad and iPhone very soon, with a condensed port of the arcade classic Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.

It was hard next to impossible doing the combos in this game using a controller, but it will be near impossible to do them with a touchscreen phone. The character graphics where small enough on the console versions of this game to begin with, so how would anyone expect to adequately play this game on a small cellphone screen? I just cant picture hardcore mk fans, fighting game fans, or anyone for that matter being good at this cellphone version of umk3.

When you have the phone close in your hand the smaller screen doesnt look so small. The only issues are when you have to use the virtual stick and buttons. Check out real racing pics below and these are in game.

I wish apple consider adding official support for external pad or something for iphone. I hate having fingers slide all over the screen. I recnetly got Battlefield bad company 2, Real racing 2 which are one of the best games on iphone. I'm sure it can compete with other handhelds if we hv some hardware keys for gaming.
