Completely agree with the Sly collection, the trophies are pretty easy but they're actually fun to earn to earn, also you won't feel any embarrassment by having these platinum's added to your account (unlike say, Hannah Montana or Terminator Salvation).

Note, Sly 3 can be a bit of a challenge when aiming for the 100% trophy, the challenge missions will take a good few tries.

I actually liked Terminator Salvation for what it was. A quick little shooter. I have played much worse before.

I played Sly 1 back in the days but never got my hands on Sly 2 and 3. I Plat Sly 1 easily already as I still clearly remember the game and now working on Sly 2. and why the hell did I missed this game? It's better and longer than Sly 1 with lots of missions to do! Can't wait to Plat this as well and move on to Sly 3! PoP Collection is next. I've only played Sand Of Time before and getting to play all 3 in HD is awesome! I'm a huge platformer/adventure game fan and this gen with the flood of FPS, I nearly miss the reason why I was so into gaming in the 1st place! Thank god for games like R&C, I still have my platformer/adventure fix once in a while but these collections sure is getting me going!

I only have 2 Platinums...Resident Evil 5 and Modern Warfare 2. The reason for this is...I give up to easy... :( I need 5 Trophies for the Infamous platinum and i gave up. I need 3 trophies for the Dead Space platinuma and i gave up. i need 1 TROPHIE for the Borderlands platinum and i gave up. and i only need to become a Honor rank #4 in Killzone 2 for the platinum...And i gave up... :(

As long as you have fun you shouldn't worry. Games are there for fun. Trohpies are only a bonus. Some say they want to complete the game to it's maximum but a lot of trophies are not to maximize fun at all. for example Kill 500 enemies. Well I could also say Kill 1.000.000 enemies. Or collect 5.000.000. I could always fuel in more lifespan to a game...

I love trophies... I am very close to platinuming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, GOWI, GOWIII, R&C: A Crack in Time, and Heavy Rain. The collector/perfectionist mentality in me is terrifyingly overwhelming. Sometimes I think I need help.

Yeah it is pretty easy, but demanded a second playthrough. So I am sitting at 91% just waiting until I have the urge to play through it again.

Although I love trophies, I try not to force myself through a game. I still want to have fun while collecting :)

yea ACiT was easy to plat but fun as hell I mean first play thru on hard then challenge mode was pretty fun, hardest trophy for me actually was the "My blaster runs hot" one just couldn't get the score.

The my blaster runs hot stupid arcade game lol... I hated that trophy I tried so many times by myself. Then I realized u could actually do it with 2 players. So a friend and I did it and it took us like 2 or 3 times. Very easy

I still prefer having the fun while doing it! there are tons of easy plats out there but I'm not going to play them easy cash in such as movie tie ins and stuff just for trophies! ACiT is a great example of easy Plat but with lots of fun! Blaster runs hot trophies was a whore playing alone but I managed it with score like 20k something!

people can say what they want about Collections' trophies but they were great games back in their days and still is! I'm proud to have plat all GoW and soon all Sly games! great games they all are!

I can concur that the Sly Cooper Collection trophies are easy. I already have all 3 platinums.

The God of War Collection wasn't too hard, but fun to complete. I didn't really feel like I was wasting my time earning those trophies.

I'm looking forward to finally playing the Sly Cooper games and if they're as fun as I've heard, I'm sure I'll get the platinums on those as well as the PoP trilogy. If it comes to the states as a Blu Ray with all three games, I'll buy it. I loved playing them when they first came out.

The Blu-Ray version of the PoP trilogy is EU-only, unfortunately. Importing the BD-ROM from the store I linked to is cheaper than buying all three individually from PSN, though, and that includes free shipping. ;-)

I know they said it's exclusive to EU, but I'm hoping it'll come to the US eventually. If not, I'll buy an imported copy. I'd much rather have a hard copy.

I loved Sly 1,2,3 and God of War 1,2 so even without the easy platinums I would have double dipped because they are fantastic and the trophies just sweeten the deal. I have never played Ico or Shadow of the Colossus so that is day one for me but I can say that about 10 other games for 2011. The only 3 platinums ive got so far are Uncharted 1 and 2 and batman arkham asylum guess they must be pretty easy if i got them lol.

Thanks I havent actually played the game in a while so I cant remember what the hardest trophies were I'll check next time im on my PS3. I am 9 blast shards away from the inFamous platinum which is frustating im sure ive checked everywhere and I just cant find them from what ive read im not the only that needs that trophy. One game i wont be platinuming though is wipeout HD now that is a challenge lol.

The old style in-game "trophies" are much better system because it shows you what you have accomplished within the game.

The PS3 trophies and X360 achievements are designed to show off to others. Just because someone has a large trophies (and achievements) count on the PSN (and Live), it's just for bragging rights.

Some games have both trophies and in-game "trophies". I consider the in-game "trophies" more accurately represent what I have accomplished in the game while the PSN trophies don't have much value other than to show off my large trophies count.

I disagree Vortex3D. I don't use trophies as a means of "bragging" as I simply just like a universal list of all the games I've played and the challenges I've accomplished.

Instead of having to jump into each individual game and check out my old style in-game "trophies" I can now view all of my progress in one place. It keeps a record of it and keeps the completionist in me aware of the games I haven't "fully" beaten.

While some people do gather trophies for bragging rights, I am not one of them. Yes, it is fun to compare them to my friends to see what they have accomplished and maybe congratulate them on a hard-earned plat, but for the most part they do not represent gamer skill, especially when you see games like Hannah Montana.

I think it depends on the person themselves really while some people do probably think of trophies like you say I just use trophies as an incentive for myself to carry on playing a game. While I like trophies Im not going to buy a game just for trophies as I just wont care and getting a skill point in ratchet and clank is as much fun to me as getting a gold,silver, or bronze trophy.
