Rendercode Games, developer of the successful indie title Avatar Racedrome, has announced the upcoming release of his new racing game, Avatar Karting.
This sequel will expand the original into an outdoor go kart driving experience, with new features including a global rankings system, online championships, Turbo boost, collisions between cars in online races, a Time Trial mode, and improved handling and physics. At the same time, most features of its predecessor have been maintained, like the autobrakes option and the ability to rewind in the race.
Chadley of Punch Nerds picks up the Indie Game sensation “Avatar Karting” with much fatigue and talks on the subjects of an unknown turbo feature, his utter defeat and a ridiculous feature that should never be in any video game
Avatar Karting has launched on Xbox Live today. Rendcore Games announced Avatar karting would be released today on Xbox Live for a small fee of 80 MS points.
I want this. I teach kids maths and as a reward I let them play Doritos Crash Course. It is simple and they love it. This seems like more simple fun. Not as free as Crash Course but definately worth it
BRAVO!!! To my fellow member of public education. What a great way to get the kids to learn. With all the bad stuff you hear about kids and video games your idea comes a breath of fresh air!
As for this game,I downloaded it yesterday and must say that its worth every point I paid for it. It is a blast to play and the local split screen works great on a big screen TV.
Its nice to see someone take advantage of the use of avatars in a game and look forward to seeing this trend continue! The PS3 has a game like this ,but its not have as much fun as this one is for the 360.
Day one midnight purchase.
1dollar? Ok.
