I remember watching the trailer for Arkham Asylum, and getting goosebumps after hearing the Joker laugh at the end.
Mark Hamil is a legend, and his joker is 'the' joker for me.

I highly suggest checking out Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns". It has some very interesting subject matter pertaining to what Brewski was mentioning, although they're not quite old (or feeble) enough to be in nursing homes at that point, heh. It's a very epic story, with an amazing follow up sequel called "The Dark Knight Strikes Back".

i hope they kill of the joker in this one because theres only so much 1 guy can do even a villian as infamous as the joker xD
but that doesnt mean the end of the series cus batman has 100's of different villians

maybe they could create a new villian exclusively for the series because the ending of arkham asylum was kinda dumb therefore the joker just wont feel the same anymore

I think these rumors are coming around because Mark said this would be the last time he is doing the voice. I hope it doesn't happen, but if it does it should be a fitting end that the character deserves.(Hope for nothing corny).

Think about it. Batman is pretty much the must straight and hard up super hero there is. His arch nemesis is the antithesis of that. They need each other. How could they ever kill The Joker?
