He did a great job voicing him in Arkham Asylum can't wait to see what he has to say in Arkham city.Somehting in that smile tells me don't f*** with the joker or you're gonna regret it.

I remember watching the trailer for Arkham Asylum, and getting goosebumps after hearing the Joker laugh at the end.
Mark Hamil is a legend, and his joker is 'the' joker for me.

DontShoot-Me-Bro3293d ago

i hope they never kill The Joker.

The Jokers character is awesome.

Brewski0073293d ago

Bats needs the Joker as the Joker needs Bats.
Joker will never die.

(They'll probably end up in a retirement home in 60 years sharing cups of medicine and talking about how "Kids these days never amount to anything")

I highly suggest checking out Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns". It has some very interesting subject matter pertaining to what Brewski was mentioning, although they're not quite old (or feeble) enough to be in nursing homes at that point, heh. It's a very epic story, with an amazing follow up sequel called "The Dark Knight Strikes Back".

We will learn that Joker and Batman have the same father!

gamerdude1323293d ago

You're linking Mark Hamill's friggin' starring role in there and, you know, making something like that seem like a surprise.

Anyone else catching his Star Wars & Batman Arkham Asylum = reference?

trainsinrdr3293d ago

i hope they kill of the joker in this one because theres only so much 1 guy can do even a villian as infamous as the joker xD
but that doesnt mean the end of the series cus batman has 100's of different villians

George Sears3293d ago

Yet none as iconic as the Joker. Sure, Twoface, Penguin are ok but Joker is in another league of his own.

UltimateIdiot9113293d ago (Edited 3293d ago )

Many of those villains are way out of the ballpark compare to the Joker.

Agreed. The only equal the Joker has is Batman.

trainsinrdr3293d ago (Edited 3293d ago )

maybe they could create a new villian exclusively for the series because the ending of arkham asylum was kinda dumb therefore the joker just wont feel the same anymore

ok i realise what i said was kinda dumb but i just hope this game has a better final boss xD

pr0digyZA3293d ago

I think these rumors are coming around because Mark said this would be the last time he is doing the voice. I hope it doesn't happen, but if it does it should be a fitting end that the character deserves.(Hope for nothing corny).

Zinc3293d ago

Think about it. Batman is pretty much the must straight and hard up super hero there is. His arch nemesis is the antithesis of that. They need each other. How could they ever kill The Joker?

The spelling and grammar mistakes in this article make me cringe.
"Screen Rant speeks with..." *shudder*
The article is just a very bad transcript of the YouTube video.

I love Mark Hamill as The Joker in Arkham Asylum and Batman: TAS and it will be sad to see him go. I guess he doesn't want to get pigeonholed into ANOTHER role.
