Cloud and Aeris make the best video game couple of all time. FFVII FTW!

Big Mama and Big Boss. Or how could I forget Mario and Peach

@Below
Yeah that would have been a bit F**ked up, glad I had time to edit that. Thanks!

Too bad Cloud just didn't grab one of those 99 Phoenix downs he had in his pocket to save her... I bet he is still kicking himself for that one!

Is it me or is it that the scene between Dom and Maria is thee most emotional moment in video games? I mean killing your own wife to end her suffering, damn that would have killed Dom from the inside. Cant wait to see what he does in Gears of War 3.

No it wasnt. I thought it was the stupidest piece of crap. He shot her instead of finding another way to help her. I'd understand if she was bleeding to death or something or being eaten alive... but c'mon!

Play Uncharted 2. Nathan, Elena, and the other chick plus the bad guys.

Also, Yakuza 3 with Kazuma and Rikiya(sp?). Yes, two guys but more like a younger brother looking up to his hero.

that game and their relationship tugged at my heartstrings like no game ever could

I believe Alyx is one of the most believable characters in video game history, I almost fell in love with her. Gabe if you are there please give us Episode 3!

Simon's Quest is better than Symphony.

Levii_921h ago

Hot damn that's a good list. The only one i never played is AOE2 and i never finshed Chrono Trigger but it was damn good.

Speaking of what's old but holds up amazingly well and plays like a dream.. i played Symphony of the Night for the first time in 2019.. yep that's right. It became one of my favourite games of all time that i replay almost every year. I couldn't believe how good it was. That is almost impossible for me with newer games let alone older ones. Truly a special gem.
