The Escapist : Donkey Kong Country Returns Review

Donkey Kong Country for the SNES was what my dad would refer to as a "big damn deal." It became an instant classic, with gorgeous visuals that pushed the limits of that platform's graphics and killer platforming that nearly broke the fingers of everyone who played it. Many things have changed in gaming since someone last tried to steal Donkey Kong's banana stash, but Donkey Kong Country Returns isn't one of them. It's still great looking, it's still hard enough to make you cry, and it's still fantastic...

2010 is the Wii's year, forget the haters. I haven't had so much fun in a year on any console this generation like Wii this year. Wii has HEART. :)

I have to agree for this year at least. Lots of nostalgic and generally good games for the Wii this year. 2011 is looking to be a monster year for the PS3 with LBP2, SOCOM 4, KZ3, inFAMOUS 2, etc.

Wii is has gotten some amazing games this year!-Red steel 2,monster hunter tri,no more heroes 2,tvc,smg2,metroid other m,kirby,donkey kong,goldeney,epic mickey-Who can afford all this Nintendo!
