PlayStation Home Update Released

E4G: Sony has announced that update version 1.4 for the PlayStation Home on the PlayStation 3 has been released.

Finally when we do our N4G meets in the Home N4G club we can use mics :D (even when we exceed the 8-group chat limit!)

It's a long time I didn't use Home... But as far as I remember, early when it was made into public beta, we could use HS to talk freely and anyone near you would listen, regardless of party.

Has this been removed? I can totally see they removing it for the ammount of people cursing and yelling with each other just for the sake of being an asshole.

They finally put voice chat in home and I still haven't figured out how to get this dam MGS headset working!

Yes it was, but then removed. (due to MASSIVE server overloading)
I guess they made it less stressful on the servers now.

Oh, boi do I remember the old bland CB Home.
I had NOTHING to do in there.

Now there's too much stuff to do (which I will only do once anyway).

I get confused easily when playing games in Home.. (like that Uncharted game.. wtf? lol)

Hmm.. I think Resistance was my fav. game so far.
Though i havn't tried all of em yet.

To properly, you have to invite people to a channel for voice chat, but yes you can use it in public but only those in the voice chat group can hear it :)

I'm trying Playstation Home for the first time right now. Downloading the update or whatever. I've been exploring what my PS3 really has to offer recently and it's really special. I found like 30 games to buy on the PS1 classics as well. Castlevania SOTN, Final Fantasy 9, SF Alpha 2, MGS, etc. Keep the awesome features, downloadables, options, etc. coming. A lot of 3D PS3 games on PSN lately too. Looks like they are really stepping their game up. I will probably start with Super Stardust for my first 3D game.
