Ok, not the biggest gamer and certainly not the biggest racing fan out there -- But please explain this to me like I'm a two year old.

I got GT5, same day delivery off Amazon, now what will this install do exactly? Will it cut loads down on the game because I heard, and this was from Kotaku by the way, that the levels took 1 to 2 min to load. Is that true? Will the install help this or cut it in half?

When you play the game and the data is not installed, it is automatically installing as you open up menus. To reduce that, sony recommends to download everything

ShinMaster3862d ago

I have never seen or heard of load times taking any more than 30 something seconds.

On Topic:

Why is this news???

TehExcusesBegin3862d ago

Well, let's see, maybe because Sony wants gamers to have the best gt5 experience and so they're providing them with this information...that's why it is news

Perjoss3862d ago

Regardless of load times, its always better to install games as it prolongs the life of your drive.

"Installing it will reduce the load times, and stream the game more smoothly. Before downloading it, make sure that you have at least thirty minutes to download the data."

What exactly are you people disagreeing with? How stupid are you people? There is nothing to disagree with in my post, just a simple question. That's it. There is no disagreeing. Are you disagreeing with my question? I don't get it. Why are the users here so ridiculous?

seinfan3862d ago

Perhaps it's the fact that the answer to your question is in the article itself. Perhaps.

HAHA Perhaps that's exactly what it is. And he has the nerves to call other people stupid.

Urhhh durr, what happens if you touch waterrr? Urmm durrr I heard you get wet

It will take away load times pretty much from what i understand. Sure it will still load but wont take long at all. Also I was assume this is better for your console. As then the Disk drive will not have to read off the disk so much. I would install it all right away.

I really dont know much honestly besides it will cut load times down probably a good bit and be good for the console itself.

Even if I have no space available, I'm deleting other games to make space.
