2010 has been a magnificent year for gamers, one filled with bar-raising products and high-profile genre efforts. Next year, though, could be even better, and a damn-sight more varied. Let's get bloody excited!

From 360: It's Gears 3 definitely.

Multiplat: I am really excited for RAGE, Bulletstorm and Arkham. But I am also excited for L.A. Noire. The facial animations look really good. And Red Dead restored my faith in R*'s projects outside of GTA.

Personally I'm pumped for Zelda: Skyward Sword, Pokemon Black and White & LBP2 the most followed closely by Pikmin 3, Dragon Quest X, The Last Guardian, Twisted Metal, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Infamous 2, Xenoblade and The Last Story.

Sorry but I'm not a big shooter fan. And I'm definitely NOT looking forward to the next call of duty.

Everyone knows that MS announces their games alot closer to launch than Sony, there's going to be more announcements from both sides as time goes on. Hopefully MS will still cater to their core audience as opposed to just Kinect next year.

the first Deus Ex was one of the best games ever made, and only one person above me even mentioned it. i never realized it til just now, but most of the ppl on n4g are complete noobs.

probably explains why 90% of the ppl on n4g think Killzone isn't a god awful franchise. it was awesome to see it wasn't even mentioned in the article...and for VERY good reason.

I don't disagree with you, but given many multiplat games track history compared to exclusive games quality and the quantity of exclusives that are supposed to come next year, I don't blame people for only looking up for that, although I definetely see gems in next year multiplat's portfolio as DeusEX and Portal2, as well as people are missing on currente great multiplat games because of stupid nitpicking in this gen.

Bishop, I disagree with you. I also believe if your a hardcore gamer you own all consoles. If you only own one you are narrowing your choice in games to only a single platform. Even the Wii has a lot of great games. You could only own one platform and of course there is noting wrong with only owning one. Not everyone is lucky enough to own them all. But for any fanboy to instantly hate on a person whose console of choice was different than his is just ridiculous. Graphics aside, Zelda looks terrible anyway. The story is going to be generic (as always), the mechanics are going to feel old, and reviewers/fans will hail it as the next coming.

L.A. Noire is a big deal, it's like the Heavy Rain of 2011 I reckon. Cinematic, noirish, gameplay built on decisions. It'll be like essentially playing L.A. Confidential, which will be nothing but a dream come true. Nothing can top The Last Guardian though. There's been so much hype built around it over the past year and a half that it has to deliver, and anyone who played ICO and Shadow Of The Colossus know it will.

I really hope Catherine gets localized over here by next year. It could happen. Looks mind-blowingly different - not to mention surreal.

In 2010 the 360 has twice the games the ps3 has. We had Metro 2033, Divinity 2, Risen, Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell, Halo Reach, Fable 3, Crackdown 2, 99 Nights 2, Dlc, Live games like limbo exc, like 15 kinect games. not to mention DCU Online (i enjoyed what i played at E3 this year), maybe even SOCOM 4. both PS3 (although DCU Online is on the PC also, but if memory serves me correct, it's TOTALLY COOL to count a multi-platform console/PC game as "console exclusive" *rolls eyes*). so many excellent games next year. and people actually think this generation is WORSE than the last? *snicker* yeah, RIGHT.
