Wait, so the console version is actually alright this time? Awesome! My wife keeps asking me to get her Sims 3 but I don't want that beast on the laptop, slowing everything down and dooming me to a future of endless expansions. I'll have to pick up the PS3 version for her for Christmas.

from what ive heard and seen this release of the sims is acutally pretty decent on the consoles. if i had a pc that would be my first choice but i think im gonna give the ps3 version a try.
