GamePro: Power Gig: Rise of the SixString Review

It's good enough that it takes some of the sting -- not all, but some -- off the fact that the bulk of the songs on the disc are locked away until you progress through the obnoxious story mode. Everything about it is horrible: the writing, the illustration, the voice-acting -- everything. You have to slog through it, slowly and with much repetition of songs, to access pretty much any of the really good tunes, which is a shame because the setlist is really that good. Hopefully, they'll release a cheat code that let's you skip the awful story mode, but if you simply can't pass up the impressive playlist, wait until the game shows up in bargain bins without the overpriced guitar before investing in it.

The story is too old to be commented.
