mygamertalk- Multiplayer in Black Ops is great. That is if you can get passed the campers, lag and unforgivable respawn system (shown above).
At first I thought I just missed a player, or someone was camping a certain part of the map. But thanks to Treyarch’s new ‘Theater Mode,’ I was able to get down to the nitty gritty and find out exactly what the problem was. Apparently, after adding the new Wager Match mode, Cod Points and secrets in Nuke Town, they didn’t have time to implement a proper respawn system that spawns players on opposite sides of the map, instead of on top of each other.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
Video games are no longer just a simple past time. Today's games are evolving into true works of art. Offering intriguing narratives, cinematic setpieces, and profound messages, games can entertain us for hundreds of hours.
I never got around to mass effect - I’m skeptical that it would hold up if I were to try it now
Yea I agree.
No matter which mode I play I can bet my life that someone is going to spawn close by me and rape me or behind me. Seems like it's totally random.
As soon as BC2 Vietnam and the new Map Pack 7 is out I'll say: "Goodbye Black Ops".
"Because those actually work, just look at how great an experience MW2 is! No overpowered weapons, perks, killstreaks or hackers in that game!"
what?
I think we all can agree the respawn issue will be addressed in the first real patch. I mean, Treyarch is passionate about listening to the community, so I can't see them letting this go.
Cant wait for BC2 Vietnam.
AS many others once that rolls out Black ops will see very little game time on my behalf!
I love the cod series and think that BO is a pretty good game but the spawns really really suck!
