There have been a few rumblings about Sonic Colors heading to the PS3/360 - Check out what the game would look like on the system thanks to the power of Dolphin. Screenshots of GoldenEye 007 in HD are also available.
Can someone tell me again WHY did Nintendo not give the Wii HDMI compatability? Like it's THAT difficult of a thing to do...
expensive i guess, they wanted to keep it cheap, and the casual gamer isn't going to really care when they're playing wii fit or wii sports or something.
So that smart people who own a decent gaming pc can emulate it and only buy a wiimote to play the games haha...
I didn't know you could do that.
"Can someone tell me again WHY did Nintendo not give the Wii HDMI compatability? Like it's THAT difficult of a thing to do..." The generally-accepted explanation is that they wanted to keep the price low as a risk-hedge in case the Wii was a monumental commercial failure. If they could do it all over again, they would probably go back and bump up the processing power and output. "So that smart people who own a decent gaming pc can emulate it and only buy a wiimote to play the games" For the record, this is untrue. Most Dolphin games play perfectly fine without the wii remote, but do require a Wii system to burn the game to disk.
Its not as simple as giving a hdmi compatibility Dolphin dose a lot more than simply upscale.
And it's the first 3D Sonic in awhile that may not suck.
Too bad its not on the PSMove, I woulda bought it.
Why would it need to be on the move? As far as I can tell the only motion's in this game are waggle to activate the wisp powers
Nice.. looks awesome
Looks fun, can't wait to play this with my nephew.
Sonic Colors looks beautiful O.o
Yes, I will be picking sonic colors up on release date.
Well, more so than HAZE anyway!
Thus, it would be an absolute beauty on a HD console.
The wait for Sonic Colors is hard enough as it is...Don't push it!
but the price of the wii was never really low considering the technology. The fact that they neglected HDMI is only further proof of Nintendo's continues ignorance and arrogance. Feel free to point out the number they've sold, but let's see how well they do at tricking people the next generation. Also, feel free to remind me exactly how many blockbuster titles the wii has.
