When coming up with this list, there were tough decisions to be made. It's pretty much a guarantee that comments such as "I can't believe you didn't include game X! This list is full of fail!" and "Game Y is total garbage. Go jump off a cliff IGN!" or "This list kidnapped my children and drained my 401k! I'm calling the cops!" and many more will appear in the comments field. But that happens pretty much any time any list is ever published, anywhere. Here, then, are the top 25 modern PC games..
Admin note: We are allowing this submission as it provides a 4k trailer on YouTube and we have to link to an IGN article. Thank you Purple101 for the submission.
Sony has announced the PS5 Pro, an upgraded version of the PlayStation 5 capable of higher frame rates, better ray-tracing, and improved graphical fidelity."
I recall in the past, my friend attempted to demonstrate the superiority and importance of using an S-video cable for PS1 games compared to the original RCA cables. He would pause the game and switch the video output settings so I could notice the differences.
or it reminds me of the 1080P vs 900P debate.
Honestly even at 4K I can barely see the difference aside frame rate.
Chinese video game company NetEase has reportedly laid off most staff at Visions of Mana developer Ouka Studios with plans to shut it down altogether.
Damn. Picked it up yesterday, really enjoying it. Didn't even realise Netease were involved with it until I first booted it up and their logo popped up.
How awful. What should have been a moment of celebration for the dev team, turned into an terrible day for them.
"The game that you spent years of your life on is finally out for people to enjoy! ALSO YOU'RE ALL FIRED!"
F you NetEase. I'll only remember your company name so that I can avoid it in the future. Hopefully S-E hires the these talented people and gives them more games to work on.
Lame. I just bought the game but have it held at the post office since I’m out of town.
Why not let the game have a chance in the wild before shutting them down.
Wow... Okay... I'm going to go out of my way in trying to avoid purchasing any NetEase game from this point on. It's one thing to shut them down if the game failed on sales. But this hasn't even had a chance to sell yet.
During the IGN Live interview with Phil Spencer, the crowd cheered even if the topic was about closures, and its because they were told to.
Just reading this headline alone made me feel grimy. Disgusting, all around. Haven't trusted IGN since over a decade ago, so this isn't really surprising to hear.
I think that kind of thing night be standard. I once was in the audience for Wheel of Fortune and there was a guy that briefed us before the show on his hand signals, when we were supposed to react/applaud and stuff like that and we were told to check under our seats because one of them had a prize underneath it.
Edit: Okay, read the article, this was definitely some slimy behaviour by IGN and it sounds like it wasn't just on the behalf of Xbox either.
Also, since IGN bought Humble Bundle years ago, they stopped occasionally giving a game away for free during certain big sales events etc, screw IGN.

They forgot that Stalker and Hitman exist.
Well, no surprise for No.1, though I would've rated Mass Effect / Starcraft 2 much higher.
Did i miss planetscape torment? Id add kotor, divine divinty, divinity 2, neverwinter nights 2, risen, morrowind, i love rpgs! Metro 2033(360 gamers check it out) is VASTLY underrated along with stalker. There are too many games on the pc to narrow it down. Definately something for fans of every genre(except jrpgs damnit!!!).
