1UP: Radiant Historia Gives Off a Distinct Chrono Trigger Vibe

1UP: "You'd be forgiven for thinking Radiant Historia is some oblique descendent of Chrono Trigger. After all, it's a 16-bit style RPG about time travel. It has something of a steampunk aesthetic, with an opening town that looks an awful lot like Final Fantasy VI's Narshe, and an earthy color palette. It has a combo-driven, three-character combat system. Atlus even hired Square mainstay Yoko Shimomura (Parasite Eve, Kingdom Hearts) to compose the game's music, which sounds an awful lot like the more ominous portions of Chrono Cross' soundtrack (albeit with slightly less Celtic flavor)."

The story is too old to be commented.
