Black Ops vs. Medal of Honor: Does Realism Matter?

I think it would be fair to say that the multiplayer modes in Call of Duty: Black Ops are not the most realistic we have ever seen, especially when you compare it to Medal of Honor, but does realism matter?

Please don't mention the term "realism" when referring to any arcade style shooter, neither CoD nor Medal of Honour are anywhere close to "realistic".

I dont like CoD but I do have MoH and i'm having fun with it but if u want to talk about realism SOCOM is where its at

agree with guy above! why would you want extreme realism! most of these people play these games to get away from there real life for a couple of hours! I doubt any of them could actually get of there couch let alone run a round with a heavy firearm shooting people!

Games are meant to be enjoyed. Sometimes when games are "too realistic" the game could be very frustrating instead of fun.

If those are the only two titles in the competition, then no realism doesn't matter. Neither is realistic.
