ARS: Here is an example of how much air one can catch in the arcade racer Nail'd: at one point I was told which direction to point my dirtbike by a blimp. In the screenshot below, you'll notice you have to dodge wind turbines to keep from getting chopped up. And dodging is possible. You have control over your vehicle in mid-air: you can shift left and right, and lean forward or backward to stay aloft longer or head towards terra firma.
