I love light gun games! I wish that SEGA would port House of the Dead: Move Edition to the PSN; I'd love to play those games again with the Move controller.

Speaking of Time Crisis 4: Namco should patch that with Trophy and Move support.

Seems like a missed opportunity.

It's included on the Razing Stom disc.

£15.99 is way overpriced for just pirates coz you can pick up the new time crisis with this mode and other modes for £30

Kurisu4909d ago

That's probably why they priced it so high. "If it's that much for one game then I may as well buy the disc". I bet they're actually hoping that this move will boost sales of Razing Storm.

just buy the full time crisis game you get deadstorm pirates with it, 3:1 games for £40 RRP lovely game, and it plays so well with the move very precise and i love it!!

MMGN: Deadstorm Pirates Review

MMGN: "Deadstorm Pirates is a curious PSN release; curious only because it is a significant part of the latest Time Crisis release; many are calling it the best part of said release. Effectively, you are paying $30 for a third of a game you would be able to find much cheaper than $90. Unfortunately, the price isn’t the only thing that goes against Deadstorm Pirates, but the game offers some unique fun, at least on a first playthrough."

Movemodo review: Deadstorm Pirates (PlayStation Move / PSN)

Quoting Movemodo's Jamie O'Neill:

"Namco Bandai's commitment to releasing arcade light-gun shooters should be commended as they're perfect fits for Move. The developers of Deadstorm Pirates deserve a bottle of rum each for creating a frantically fun, set-piece heavy co-op title which is accessible enough to be enjoyed in equal measure by core and casual gamers. It is a shame that gamers will be deterred from buying this because of its £15.99 price tag, and whoever set its PSN pricing should be made to walk the plank. The action-packed visuals and atmospheric audio design are commendable, and there is undoubtedly a charm to its pirate-themed setting. However, with just over thirty minutes of gameplay throughout its four main levels, including a fifth stage based on a boss battle, the content is too shallow for the asking price."

El33tonline Review: Time Crisis: Razing Storm (PS3)

El33tonline writes:

"... Now though, light gun games seem pretty darn archaic compared with what’s available on home consoles and PCs, what with full 3D first-person shooters that allow gamers to interact with environments and move through areas at their own pace, using their own strategy and guile (and arsenal of weapons) to make it through a wall of enemies. Now-a-days, ‘on-rails’ shooters are considered a cop out – why not just make a full 3D game?

Just because something seems a little old, however, doesn’t mean that it’s not a whole ton of fun, and Time Crisis: Razing Storm packs enough ‘old fun’ onto one disc to make you forget about advances in videogames, and just lets you kick back, squeeze the trigger and have a blast!"
