GameZebo - Cartoon Wars 2: Heroes Review

GameZebo - nyone who thinks that cartoon characters couldn't possibly engage in acts of war should probably check out an episode of two of Tom & Jerry. If Hanna-Barbera's cartoon was still a regular fixture in this day and age, there's a chance every episode would have to be preceded by a parental guidance warning – most of them containing more violence than you're likely to see in your average Terminator movie.

AppSpy: Cartoon Wars 2: Heroes Review

When you look back at BLUE GNC's previous Cartoon Wars and Cartoon Wars-Gunner titles, 'Cartoon Wars 2: Heroes' seems like the obvious next step. While the combination of beat'em-up and castle defense gameplay elements don't mesh terribly well, it's an interesting way to try and break up the monotony inherent in these sorts of games.

STP - Cartoon Wars 2: Heroes Review

STP - Medieval-style tower warfare and machine guns: Two great tastes that God never intended to go together, but can mate happily thanks to the magic of the iPhone and the App Store. Cartoon Wars II: Heroes combines the tower defense and real time strategy of the original Cartoon Wars with the running and gunning of Cartoon Wars-Gunner. The two ideas admittedly don't click together as cleanly as Lego blocks, but when you take down your first dragon swarm with an automatic weapon in each hand, you probably won't notice.
