Here is the video review by iWaggle3D of The Fight: Lights Out. Enjoy!
Nice video, like always. I think there is coming a patch fixing some stuff.
This is what a review should be. Outside of the need for an actual written, detailed standard which no website possesses, this video backs up comments with fact. Every pro and con is explained and demonstrated. Job well done iWaggle.
Good video review.. I know IGN gave it a 3/10, but it definitely doesn't look that bad. I don't have Move, but this game looks pretty fun. From this video review, it looks between a 6/10.
great review. I wish iWaggle reviewed more than just move games! I agree, great mechanic (it works) but horrible implementation. so sad =( had potential...oh well, move will only be worth it when real move implementation comes around ( LBP2, KZ3, Infamous 2, Socom 4, etc) 2011 the real year for move I suppose...
we all need to make sure iwaggle gets plenty of heat. excellent review.
You read it someone or you hope? I hope you read it somewhere :)
They can tweak the game and perfect it, you should probably beta Sony's games. You found a lot of the genuine problems, and solutions. Edit: IGN's review sounded more like they hated it to begin with. Basically, it was more like a game bashing than it was a review. IGN's creditability is shot anyways.
good job mate, excellent review!
Great review.. This is how reviews should be done!
Did you see IGN gave this game a 3/10? http://www.youtube.com/watc...
It's such a shame. You can see the motion detection is superb, it's just that the game gets in the way. Very simple design decisions have profoundly hampered the game. But a simple patch could fix nearly all of these issues. Please sony, get on the case.
Agreed. I didnt know the game was in 3d. If they fix those few problems with a patch im gonna snap this up because 1) I know how much of a workout move games can be, and 2) I need MOAR 3D!!!
how in the hell did anybody disagree with (buffig) comment?...
Im really liking iWaggle 3D. Seems to be one of the few places to find fair reviews and articles on motion control games and 3D. That is they are not too lenient, and not to critical. Unlike certain other sites that are completely IGNorant.
I think this guy is more professional in making reviews than all IGN clowns altogether. I hope game producers watch his review and fix the game, then I'll buy it. For a contrast, I had a chance to see Fighters Uncaged live at a game fair. Forget any variation in punching. It only detects left, right, body move and kick. It makes the game look like 80s-style arcade playable with one fire button. http://www.youtube.com/watc...
this game is terrible, so much potential wasted
iWaggle3D needs to be appended to a proper gaming website/magazine. Such excellent reviews. Knows exactly what to look for when it comes to flaws, and experiments in places to see where the game gets it right.
he was moving his arms at 2:07 and the guy was doing it and it was smooth and not kinect spaz like. I know but hear me out. If kinect was that smooth i would give it a chance. I mean look at it that tracking was really impressive and this is the game the media crapped on hard . YOU KNOW IT LOOKED COOL WHEN he was doing the hadouken arm movement from street fighter 2
The best most thorough review I have ever watched.
Very professional review, with humour included! Thanks IWaggle3D!
I didn't know move has delay too.
Is not Move, is the game. Why Sport Champions/MAG/Heavy Rain and other games with the super precision don't have delay like The fight?
Then when kinect has delay must be the game too.
Is different, you have more delay on a Camera like Kinect compared to Move.
ok, you have more delay with the camera but why could not be the game the problem as move?
or did i just witness the best review in my life.he explained everything in such detail objectivley.he left it to the end user to decide if it was for him/she with the pros and cons.and all with out a fucking number attached to it.who would've thought?..that was totally professional, and i think i've found a new reviewer.omfg that was a great fucking review. edit: just found out they only do motion control reviews, what a shame, i would've used them for all my review needs.
I agree 100% best review I have ever seen. The odd thing was how simple it all was, he simply showed the game and told us how it functioned. Other review sites should take a lesson from this guy.
I agree with both of you; simply amazing
iwaggle u are the best you have posted some of the best tech reviews i have ever seen!!!!!! well done!
Iwaggle is the go to place for motion gaming reviews, dismiss the Rey of the big sites this is the place to go to
